Abstract: The subject on History and Building of the CPC has the unique advantages of taking the Chinese stance as its foundation and scientific methods as its support, so as to accurately interpret China's development practice and governance challenges. Moreover, it serves as a core discipline that demonstrates the methodology for constructing the independent knowledge system of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. Centering on the independent knowledge system, the systematic construction of the disciplinary system, academic system and discourse system of the subject on History and Building of the CPC is a systematic project of far-reaching strategic significance, which concerns the long-term development of the discipline and undertakes its academic mission and responsibility.
