Abstract:
ZHANG Jiuling's low-status intellectuals' mentality contains a dual modest and unpretentious family background and regional nature, at the same time because of the Kaiyuan era in the "bureaucratic and literary dispute" whirlpool center. ZHANG Jiuling intends to express the antagonism between the evil world and the lonely man by drawing a metaphor of the art. The character image of the low-status intellectuals in the Middle Ages was raised to an idealized spiritual height. This kind of writing characteristic shows ZHANG Jiuling's belief in "Dao" as a scholar of literature, and his sense of spiritual superiority in the face of mandarin-type officials, which is actually the response of the intellectual class to the age-old problem of the relationship between "Dao" and potential. It shows the common understanding and pursuit of scholars by a large number of poor literati who are both intellectuals and bureaucrats, whose significance should not be ignored.
