On the Triple Relationship Between the Inscriptions of Landscape Paintings and the Paintings in the Song Dynasty

  • There is a triple relationship between the inscriptions of landscape paintings and the paintings in the Song Dynasty. The writing object of inscriptions is mainly the landscape in the painting. The "second description" of the landscape determines the characteristics and style of landscape description in inscriptions to a great extent. The author of the inscription has his own conception of the source of inspiration for landscape painting, which is usually attributed to the artist's "hills and gullies in the chest", which is a subjective spirit. There are some famous landscape painting themes that have been drawn repeatedly. The inscriptions present the paintings of the same theme in multiple dimensions.
