Abstract
Integrated education is the policy requirement and important task of special education in China in the new era, and accelerating the transformation of integrated education is also the way to promote the depth of China's education reform and build a more flexible and inclusive education system. Based on the analysis of the transmutation of integrated education from the perspective of structural functionalism, it is found that it faces the dilemmas of a weak internal support system, an inadequate legal system, a lack of collaboration between external subjects, and the shackles of social cognition, and accordingly, it is proposed that the development direction of integrated education should be constructing an internal support system, improving the legal system of integration, building a synergistic ecosystem, and creating a tolerant society, so that it can lead the sustainable development of integrated education in the new era and provide a solution for achieving the high-quality development of education. Accordingly, it is proposed to build an internal support system, improve the integration legal system, build a synergistic ecosystem and create an inclusive social pattern, with a view to leading the sustainable development of integrated education in the new era and providing a positive impetus to the realisation of high-quality education.
