  • Digital health literacy, as an ability to acquire, utilize, disseminate, share and create digital health resources, can alleviate the health anxiety and technology anxiety of the elderly. The literacy can optimize the lifestyle of the elderly in the acquisition and use of online health information, the development and strengthening of health-promoting behavior, and the maintenance and promotion of cognitive health. It can provide basic guarantee for the elderly to have a healthy body. The improvement of the ability to master health technology products and services also helps the self-presentation of independence and initiative and helps to break the social-health anxiety caused by the stigmatizing label of aging. On the one hand, it can help them overcome the fear of negative evaluation and thus relieve their social-health anxiety; on the other hand, it can supplement their social capital through accelerating the circulation and renewal of social resources, meeting their needs of social participation and stabilizing existing social networks and expanding new ones, thus helping the elderly integrate into the digital society, enjoy the dividend of intelligent pension services and weaken the anxiety of functional technology use.
