  • Due to the development of market economy, the family model has begun to diversify, the pension mechanism has gradually been socialized, preschool education has also begun to go public, and the traditional Confucian culture of family education function has gradually got lost. It is difficult for miniaturized families to independently undertake the important task of family education, which is quasi-public, and the government assumes the role of quasi-″public father″ and takes over part of the educational tasks that should be undertaken by families. The government should take moderate intervention as the criterion and bear the responsibility of supporting and supervision. Its responsibilities include guidance, support, protection, supervision, service, etc. As far as the procedure is concerned, the local government should be encouraged to formulate regulations for family education. Next, the standing committee of the National People′s Congress can draw up the family education law and the government of all levels arranges the family education center system, carry out the related work of family education and work out the detailed rules and supplementary regulations of family education.
