From Discipline to Guidance: The Relationship between Teachers and Students from the Perspective of Power Space and Its Reconstruction

  • Power is an important perspective for observing teacher-student relationships, and space is an important dimension of power. From the perspective of power space, the teacher-student relationship as a power relationship is a model of shaping the subject, and its operation fundamentally relies on educational space. The educational space not only shapes the image, relationship, and way of life of teachers and students as the main body, but also is transformed and produced by teachers and students. The power spatial relationship between teachers and students in reality presents a confrontational form of discipline and opposition.It undermines the significance of power in education. The inherent meaning of restoring power as a guide, the power spatial relationship between teachers and students will present a symbiotic pattern, and the growth of teachers and students will be enriched together with their educational space.
