Abstract
In the process of the gradual formation of the national labor market, "half working and half farming" has become a common family economic model for migrant workers' families in western China. The limited labor market space provided by the western region has caused a large outflow of local labor. The industrial transfer and return of migrant workers in recent years have not solved the labor shortage problem. The family is the unity of economic development and emotional interaction. Chinese social and cultural tradition contains profound "family-oriented" values, and it has gradually become a consensus to maximize family accumulation through optimal allocation of labor. However, family strategies that excessively pursue economic benefits and ignore the emotional expression of couples create the risk of family breakdown. For Chinese migrant workers' families, the behavior of working is a concrete form of their "living" life logic. The family as an entity should be brought back into the daily lives of migrant workers to achieve emotional interaction between family members, especially couples. The emergence of the "couple working together" model not only meets the development goals of rural families to achieve high family accumulation, but also takes into account the emotional interaction between husband and wife, further enhancing the family's resilience and stimulating family vitality.
