Abstract
Zhuang Zi, as one of the originators of Taoist theory, put forward a series of propositions and categories with classical significance and philosophical value, thus laying the theoretical foundation of Taoist philosophy and aesthetics. He took "free and unfettering" as the highest form of Taoist aesthetics, took "virtual self to travel to the world" as the specific way of personality cultivation, and took "taking things to travel to the mind" as the aesthetic subject to the state of aesthetic clarity, and finally reached the highest state of "free and unfettering" of "royal objects" and "body way". Zhuangzi pushed Taoism aesthetics to the first theoretical peak of Chinese classical aesthetics, and also laid a solid artistic theoretical foundation for Chinese excellent classical culture.
