Abstract: Karl Heinrich Marx was the first philosopher of the millennium, and the Chinese translation of "Marx" is his specific name symbol in China. Marx is not only a translated name, but also a symbol with specific individual differences that distinguishes him from the general population through language and written information. The Chinese translation of "Marx" was mainly translated into English, Japanese, Russian and other channels before it was introduced into China. At first, the Chinese translation of "Marx" appeared in the European version, and it had a variety of translation methods, reflecting different semantic connotations. Finally, the CPC promoted the formation of consensus, forming a consistent historical portrait. The historical evolution of the Chinese translation of "Marx" in China has promoted the recognition of Marx among the Chinese people. The use of a unified Chinese translation of "Marx" has facilitated the dissemination of Marxism in China to a certain extent, preserved the historical memory of Marx in China.
