Humanistic Value and Curricular Significance of Mathematics Education

  • 摘要: 表层、显性的数学概念和方法体系蕴含着丰富的人文价值。作为基础教育的一部分,数学教育对人的发展和精神需要有独特作用。解析数学教育的独特作用,是发挥其育人功能的必然追求。实现数学教育的人文价值,是应试教育向素质教育转变的时代要求,为数学课程发展提供了一个新视角,从整体上体现了科学教育与人文教育融合的国际课程改革趋势。

     

    Abstract: mathematical concepts and methods contain rich humanistic values. As part of the basic education, mathematics education plays a unique role in human development and has great significance for spiritual needs. An analysis of this unique role of mathematics education follows from the inevitable pursuit of its educational function. To realize the humanistic value of mathematics education is the requirement of the times when the exam-oriented education is being transformed into the liberal education, which provides a new perspective for the development of mathematics curriculum and reflects the trend of international curriculum reform integrating science education with humanistic education.
