Abstract:
It is an effective way to study the community identity of the Chinese nation to explore the individual's identity of the ethnic group and the Chinese nation from the perspective of cultural attachment.Taking Dong/Miao/Yao high school students in Dong Autonomous County of Sanjiang, Guangxi as subjects, this paper probes into the individual's cultural attachment to the local ethnic group and the Chinese ethnic group. Experiment 1 showed that in the threatening situation, the presence of local cultural symbols under the threshold improved the preference score for random geometric figures, and the response time was significantly longer than that of neutral pictures. Experiment 2 showed that in the threatening situation, the presence of ethnic cultural symbols and Chinese cultural symbols in the region under the threshold improved the preference score for random geometric figures, and the priming response time of ethnic cultural symbols and Chinese cultural symbols in the region was significantly longer than that of ethnic cultural symbols and neutral pictures outside the region, indicating that subjects formed attachment to ethnic cultural symbols and Chinese cultural symbols in the region. In the threatening situation, national cultural symbols and Chinese cultural symbols bring a sense of security to individuals. The whole study shows that ethnic minority students in the area have regarded the ethnic groups in the area and the Chinese nation as internal groups and have formed an attachment to the ethnic groups in the area and the Chinese nation.
