重返“孟子第一义”的致思场域——《孟子·滕文公上·道性善章》考释

Returning to the Field of Thinking on "The First Meaning of Mencius": Examinations and Interpretations of Book 3 A1 of the Work Mencius

  • 摘要: 以“道性善”为“孟子第一义”,以“称尧、舜”为“第二节功夫”,这是人们对《孟子·滕文公上·道性善章》的一般看法。作为考释价值显著的大章,《道性善章》既涉及文史考证问题,又涉及哲学诠释问题,需要考证与诠释双管齐下。唯有在《孟子》单章研究的新范式下,《道性善章》那些鲜为人知的文史考证问题方能引起深切的关注,那些众所周知的哲学诠释问题方能得到更深的理解。全面地成就《道性善章》的单章研究,实质就是真切地重返“孟子第一义”的致思场域。

     

    Abstract: AboutBook 3 A1 of the work Mencius,it is generally accepted that "taking human nature as good" is "the first meaning of Mengzi", and "commending Yao and Shun" is "the second section of cultivation". As a great chapter with significant value of examinations and interpretations, Book 3 A1 involves both literal-historical examinations and philosophical interpretations, which requires a two-pronged approach. Only under the new paradigm of single chapter study of Mencius, those little-known literal-historical examinations can draw deeper attention, and those well-known philosophical interpretations can be more extensively understood. In essence, accomplishing the study of the single chapter of Book 3 A1 is a real return to the field of thinking on "the first meaning of Mencius".
