Teacher Education in Singapore: Model Reform and Innovation

  • 摘要: 新加坡基础教育被公认为具有世界先进水平,这很大程度上归功于高水平的教师。以教育模式的变革为划分依据,把新加坡教师教育模式分为部分时间制在职培训模式、全日制“双发展”培养模式、大学化VSK模式、21世纪教师教育模式和“四生”学习模式五个阶段,并对各个阶段模式的目标、内容及其内在联系进行分析和归纳。新加坡教师教育模式中VSK能力框架、师范毕业生能力框架、评价素养的培养、理论与实践的结合以及教育部、大学和中小学伙伴合作关系、反思式教学模式等都对中国教师教育模式的变革与创新有诸多启示。

     

    Abstract: Singapore's basic education is is well-known for its world-class quality, which is largely attributed to its high-level teachers. This year marks the 71st anniversary of Teacher Education in Singapore. Based on the reform of the education model the Singapore teacher education model is divided into five stages: part-time on-the-job training model, full-time “double major” training model, university VSK model, 21st-century teacher education model and four-life learning model, and the objectives and contents of each model and their internal relationship are analyzed and summarized. The VSK ability framework, the ability framework of normal graduates, the cultivation of evaluation literacy, the combination of theory and practice, the partnership between the ministry of education, universities and primary and secondary schools and the reflective teaching model in Singapore's teacher education all have a lot of enlightenment for the reform and innovation of China's teacher education model.
