Abstract: Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese people have adhered to and developed socialism with Chinese characteristics and continued to advance Chinese-style modernization. In this process, a new model for human advancement has been created. In the process of Sinicization of Marxism, the CPC's scientific exploration and grasp of three major fundamental questions concerning civilization, based on Marxism, is of great importance to the creation of a new model for human advancement. They are about what constitutes a "new civilization" that represents a higher level of historical progress, how to treat different civilizations that already exist, and how to promote and create civilizations in practice. The correct solution of the above three major basic problems constitutes the three dimensional basic direction for the Communist Party of China to grasp civilization scientifically. A careful review and in-depth analysis of the above three dimensions are important to better understand and continuously enrich and improve the new model for human advancement in the new journey.
