Abstract: The reason why MAO Zedong's article Serving the People can be transformed from a memorial speech into a classic literature of Chinese Marxism is based on the basic premise that the text reflects the essence of the times, the content of the text contains classic attributes, the author of the text has an authoritative identity, and the text learning responds to multiple demands. The core method is to write the text into the Party's program and line, integrate it into the Party and government education system, bring it into the national education sequence and embed it in the field of public life. Through this process, not only is the value and meaning of the text itself deeply disseminated, but it also shapes the Party's governing philosophy, constructs the Party's political image, promotes the Party's theoretical construction, and enlightens the classic approach of contemporary Chinese Marxist texts: firstly, it is necessary to be good at discovering valuable texts from authoritative authors, and secondly, it is necessary to explore the classic significance of the text based on the characteristics of the times.
