Abstract:
On the official website of the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam, there is a MEGA
2 (
The Complete Works of Marx and Engels, historical examiner edition), an unpublished copy of Marx's notes from his later years on land ownership in France. The notebook is in German and French, with a cover catalogue in Engels' handwriting and excerpts from the text in Marx's own handwriting. The main content of the notebook is detailed data on land ownership, and the excerpts represent a further exploration of the question of the national revolution and the "Six-Book Plan" in the context of Marx's later research. According to the identification results, the notebooks are of great value to our understanding of Marx's attitude towards the peasant class in his later years.
